Search Kapiʻolani CC Course Reserves in the Kapiʻolani CC Library Catalog by Instructor name or by campus, course alpha, and number. Write down the Call Number and bring it to the Circulation Counter to borrow the item with your Kapiʻolani CC ID Card. Only two Reserve items may be borrowed at a time.
Reserve fines are calculated as follows (even when the library is closed): $1.00 for each hour or fraction thereof.
If the item is not returned or is considered lost, $10.00 in overdue fines, a processing fee of $10.00, and the replacement cost of the item will be billed to the borrower.
2-hour Reserve items checked out less than 2 hours before the library closes are due before the Circulation Counter closes.
Reserve items must be returned by the date and time assigned on the date due slip or fines will be assessed. There is no grace period.
Unlike books, Reserve items cannot be returned at other UH System Libraries. Kapiʻolani CC Reserve items must be returned to the Circulation Counter.
Items should be handed to an attendant at the circulation counter when the library is open to ensure proper checkin and avoidance of fines. Use the book drop outside of the library only when the library is closed.
