All current Kapiʻolani students, distance learners, faculty, and staff are eligible for library services. To use them, you must obtain a Kapiʻolani Community College ID Card, which enables you to check out books, use reserve materials, print and copy in the Library and computer labs, and search online databases from your off-campus home or office.
Students must validate their ID every semester. Non-credit students, emergency hires, casual hires, lecturers and visiting colleagues must renew their ID before the expiration date.
In addition to validation, Kapiʻolani CC ID Cards need to be registered with the library in order to access restricted online resources from off-campus. Registration can be done online (takes up to 3 business days) or in person at the Circulation Counter in the library.
