Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Book a Study Room, the ʻOhana Space, or the Speech Lab below. The Podcast Studio may only be booked by faculty/staff and must be booked through the Lamakū Learning Center Coordinator or the Head Librarian. Learn more about these spaces below.

Group Study Rooms

Group study rooms are provided on the second floor of the library. Most rooms can comfortably seat six people, and several have whiteboards. These rooms are in high demand and are valuable library resources; they cannot be used for recreational activities.

ʻOhana Space

The ʻOhana Space is located on the second floor of the library. This is a space where you can study with your keiki (child) and can also be used as a lactation room.

Speech Lab

The Speech lab is located on the second floor of the library. It is a space where students can practice presentations and speeches.

Rules

In order to use library spaces, students must agree to follow these rules:

  1. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  2. Three-hour limit per day; up to three reservations per week.
  3. Academic activities only in Group Study Rooms and the Speech Lab.
  4. No food. Covered drinks only.
  5. Unattended items will be turned in to the Circulation Counter.
  6. No excessive noise.
  7. Lights must be on when the room is in use.

Students who do not follow these rules will be asked to leave. Report problems or violations to library staff.
