Please contact the Testing Center by e-mail (kcctest@hawaii.edu) or call 808.734.9144 during normal business hours.

> What is your retesting policy?

There is no charge for a student's first attempt in each section of the ACCUPLACER test (Math, WritePlacer, and/or ESL Reading & ESL WritePlacer).

If a student needs to re-test in one or more sections of the ACCUPLACER beyond their first attempt, they shall be assessed a re-test fee of $25 for each re-test session, regardless of the number of sections taken during that re-test session.

The highest of all active (non-expired) test scores shall be used to determine a student's final placement.

Exemptions: Students are exempt from paying re-test fees as long as their previous test scores for the sections they are re-testing in are expired.  Test scores expire two (2) years from the date the test was last taken.

Additional Information: Current and archived (expired) ACCUPLACER scores may be used for placement into Math or English courses.
