Streaming Video Help Guide

I'm a subscriber: Can I show anything I find on Netflix to my class?

STOP

Even if you have a subscription to Netflix, copyright laws prohibit even educational screenings, depending on the title.

There are Exceptions

Netflix does have a collection of documentaries that are available for one-time educational screenings. They recommend you go to media.netflix.com and search for upcoming titles. These films can be shown in the classroom, with a community group at a meeting, with a book club, etc. A subscriber must log on to Netflix and the film must be streamed from their site. The screening must be non-profit and non-commercial. The Netflix logo should not be used in promotional materials.
