Kūlia Support Project can help.
Since Fall 2019, Kūlia Support Project has been providing one-on-one support to Native Hawaiian students who attend the University of Hawaiʻi Community Colleges (UHCC).
You might be thinking, "What kind of support?"
That's the cool thing: tell KSP what you'd like help with and their super friendly coaches and mentors will connect you with services, resources, and opportunities that fit your situation.
Some examples include Native Hawaiian Centers & Programs, financial aid information, tutoring centers, internship opportunities, and tools for successful online learning.
And you know what? If you just want to talk story, you can do that too.
Being current or former college students, KSP staff can relate to the struggles you may be experiencing.
Kūlia Support Project offers many opportunities to engage and Connect With a Coach from your campus.
Kapiʻolani CC students can book a time with Educational Coach Geneva and Peer Mentors Micah and Kahi.
Want to test-drive the support?
Drop-in for KSP's Talk Story Thursdays, each week at 1:30pm via Zoom. RSVP for the password.
If you'd like support, or know someone who does, book an appointment with Kūlia Support Project.
Having second thoughts?
Part of Kūlia Support Project's mission is to help students reach their fullest potential, to "Kūlia i ka Nuʻu," Strive for the Highest. Queen Kapiʻolani would be proud.
